[So after a few days from his initial arrival, Steve finally decides to use the communicator he's given. He's not averse to using it, if the technology is helpful he's gonna work with it. He looks at the device, his expression friendly.]

Hello, this is Steve Rogers. Word is that I was here before, but guess that's happened to others too. Don't have my memories of that time, but I'm not against reintroducing myself and meeting anyone I've worked with before. [He's actually a little angry about that, but he's not showing it. It's sorta the opposite of waking up in New York, but still frustrating in its own way. Regardless, Steve remains calm and polite on the video feed.]

Not against meeting new soldiers- people, either. Trust in your comrades is always important. Doesn't matter what world you come from.

The last time I asked, there seemed to be quite a few people with combat experience, but it feels like there are just as many civilians bei brought her at times, [And that's not counting the more untrustworthy types.]

One of the recent batch of arrivals included several medics, which was good since we'd just lost a lot of them before they arrived. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come and not just a fluke.

Sounds like BREW doesn't have a set pattern. Working randomly that's been confusing most people here.

It's good that more medics have arrived. The more helping hands, the better.

I think there were a few people trying to figure out some kind of patter before, but most of them have been sent back. [Before he managed to badger them for more in formation too.]

Let's just hope BREW doesn't send any of them back this time.

[He nods.] Do you specialize in any specific weaponry, Corporal Giroro?

I prefer firearms, but I've also been trained in the use of melee weapons.

What about yourself, Captain?

Shields, actually. Normally use one that's a bit specialized, but I'm not against the use of other weapons when available.

Shields, huh? [Not the strangest weapon he's seen, but it's not exactly standard, either.] How was it specialized? Did it shoot rockets?

It's simple in appearance, round and no additional rockets. But it can ricochet off walls, so it's part projectile.

What material was it made from?

Vibranium, although it's not too common from what I've heard. Basically lighter than steel, but still stronger than it.

I've never heard of that metal. [But he wants to see it! He was, after all, at heart a weapon otaku.] I wonder if the Pekopon I was on has it...

Heard that all of the metal he found went into my shield. [Small smile] Gotta be honest, wish I had it with me. But got to make do, right?

BREW should just let us keep our weapons. Or at least give us a way to earn them back.
