[Judging from the racks of old-fashioned clothes that can be seen in the background, Lily is at Yesterday’s Magic this afternoon and she doesn’t seem to be alone. A fluffy gray Norwegian forest cat is sitting on the counter behind her and yawning.]

Has anyone seen Raidou today? [She sneezes and the picture goes wobbly for a moment as a black kitten in her lap meows and reaches a paw out to the communicator.]

I found his cats outside my shop this morning and can’t seem to get a hold of him or his partner. [Which makes her worry a bit that BREW might be at it again… That cotton-pickin’ contraption did seem to especially like sending certain folks back and forth.] If he doesn’t show up to claim them soon, I reckon I’m going to need a cat sitter. [Another sneeze.]

[And might as well ask about this too…]

I’m also looking for more help in my vintage clothes shop. I’ve rented the space next door and I’ve been working on expanding so I’d like to hire some more salespeople. Ideally, someone who wouldn’t mind also helping with the laundry.

[The first half of the post doesn't much catch Kyoko's attention - The name of the missing person was unfamiliar to her, so obviously no reason to comment on that. The cats themselves are a little more interesting, but it's the last few sentences that draw her in to respond.]

[Ah, Lily remembers her. The girl who had spoken of hunting witches back home.]

Yes, a vintage one to be exact. My stock spans about a century from the late 1800s to the 1980s.

[Honestly, the clothing itself seems like something that would be a little more up Mami's alley (perhaps she point the other girl in the direction of the store at some point), but it does bring a question to mind. If she seems a little less self-assured than the last time the two of them spoke, it's because the inquiry itself is a little outside of Kyoko's comfort zone.]

Is there any chance you can do repairs...?

[The question seems a bit uncertain but textiles are Lily's specialty so the answer comes easily.]

Of course. The old clothes often need a bit of fixing up before they're sold. I can only do a bit of the basics but I've got a talented tailor working for me. Was there something you needed fixed?

[That was the sort of answer she'd been hoping for. She brightens up a little before replying.]

The outfit I was wearing when I arrived got beat up pretty badly. I'm really not any good with sewing, but I didn't want to just get rid of it or anything.

Yes, cats. He was fond of the creatures and kept two as pets.

[Video] Lily's just too inept with technology to attempt to change the settings!

[She's talked to Kanji in the meanwhile and now heard that Raidou and Alucard are gone. She sighs.]

It seems that way. But that contraption has sent Raidou back and forth a few times before so I'm not sure if it's temporary.

[ Sakura leans into the video feed, clearly trying to get a better look at the cats. ]

They're really cute!

[The black kitten paws at the communicator and it's possible to get a glimpse of its face and curious yellow eyes before Lily moves the device out of its reach.]

I guess they are but I can't take care of them myself, not for long anyway.

[ she really should ask Naruto and Sasuke first, but little does she know Sasuke is already volunteering geeze. ]

Well, if no one else claims them, I'd be happy to help.

It's Sakura, right? [She recalls a brief conversation from before.] I don't think I introduced myself last time. I'm Lily.

Someone already offered to take the black one if I couldn't find a home for it. But, of course, that's if Raidou doesn't come back. That cotton-pickin' contraption has sent him back and forth a few times so it's difficult to tell right now.

Hn. I doubt you'll need a cat sitter. I'm sure they can take care of themselves just fine.

But they were my friend's pets. [A sneeze.] I can't just abandon them.

Even if that's true, I can't just turn them loose!

[A dead weight seemed to drop into Edgeworth's stomach when he tried to contact Raidou and Alucard shortly after Lily's post. Not only was the Agency continuing to lose more valuable members, the two had been friends of his, after a fashion. Alucard was quiet, and did not demand much except the respect he deserved, which he did not receive back home. And Raidou...Raidou was unquestionably loyal, and Edgeworth had finally gotten past the point where it felt awkward ordering his former boss.

His expression, if Lily could see it, would have made her wonder if Edgeworth had suddenly aged ten more years. As if he didn't look old enough.]

I cannot contact them, Miss Ivory. I believe they have returned to their respective homes.

[She couldn't see him but from his voice, he did sound rather weary. And she had talked to Kanji in the meanwhile and heard about the significance of messages not going through so there was a sigh before she answered.]

It does seem that way. But with how that cotton-pickin' contraption liked to send Raidou back and forth, I wonder if he might be back again.

[Edgeworth, honestly, was not very optimistic at this point with so many people disappearing. Even if Raidou had been sent home several times, only to be dropped back into DC.]

Did you check his living quarters?

[Lily wasn't really sure either. Even if Raidou had been sent back several times, she hadn't heard of Alucard disappearing at the same time. She shook her head.]

Kanji mentioned that but I found the cats right before I opened the shop for the day so I haven't had the chance.

[Karina feels a little bad upon seeing the feed. She had experience with a similar predicament, too. When Kotetsu and Kaede left, they also left behind all their pets, which Karina mostly put in a shelter because she couldn't handle them. Well... all except for the bunny.

But anyway, sad things aside...]

Well, I could help you with the shop, Lily. I've got my job at Dorsia, but that's only at evenings. And besides that, there's only so much singing for a living offers.

[Lily moves the communicator out of the kitten's reach again and gives a grateful smile.]

That would be great, Karina. I've tried hiring some locals but I've been a bit short on salespeople since Yuugi got sent back. I've still got Kanji and Josuke but they're better at repairing things and errands.

I reckon that would be good. I can show you some of the work that goes on at the shop and you can tell me if you're still up for it; vintage tends to be more work than just selling new clothes with all the cleaning needed.
