Those ghastly attacks from the Witches from before - though that's nothing new, however it is still both very sad and very irritating. That, and with those people that have been taken...

[His tail stops, as he looks back at the Camera.]

It only makes me glad that I am going. I know not what I am to expect, exactly, except that I know that I will attempt to do my best to help my meister whilst we do battle. However, I shall most certainly not forget that our main objective is to bring people back home where they belong.

[Odd, when did Death City become "home" instead of, well...]

So for everyone that is going, pray do take care, and bring back our fellows back from the clutches of those witches.

As for those that are new arrivals -- I would think it depends on whether or not you have a partner, if you have the battle experience, and if you are confident in your abilities to participate in such an undertaking. However if you are, Godspeed.

If it is anything like the last away mission that Toph and I were a part of, then it would be a bit more different than simply doing that, my friend.

[and if that's the case, he'd do whatever he could to protect her. He doesn't want to let her down yet again.]

However, if it is somewhat easier than that, then I am quite sure we will be able to, as you say, "kick butt" as mch as we can, and bring back our fellows quickly enough.

At least, that is now my hope.

That is quite true. We are quite strong, those of us that are going, and we are going to go against them only because they have taken our fellows, which was quite seriously wrong of them to do.

[And then he adjusts it so that it is a private conversation between the two dragons]

Only that I worry for Toph. The last time we did go out, I let her down by not being careful and let her get injured. She does not blame me, but as her weapon, I do at times feel like I should have done something more to have avoided that.

Akin to letting one's "protected one" get hurt whilst in one's care. It is not a very good feeling, Mushu.

But... we need to do this, and I will try to see to it that we get through this as unscathed as is possible.

Odd as it might sound to you, sir, I am, though I have not been on the network as of late, due to the circumstances.

However, I am curious -- why did you ask?

I could say likewise, but I would think you have been more on the network than I have. Also, I do my normal patrols every single day, so you might perhaps see my shadow over in the Red Light District.

[Then again, this man perhaps did not frequent his district.

for all but the colour, he looks so much like shinonome -- it's a little uncanny. and unfortunately, it only serves to remind him of the indeterminate amount of time that stands between him and returning to his own world and finally being reunited with her after so long.

[He blinks. It's not everyday that someone gives him - a sort of compliment that is more worthy to someone like the Scarlet Flower breed of dragons than his own. It seemed... odd.

He gives the man a slight bow.]

Sir, perhaps you might be making me to be a larger dragon as I would normally would be back at home, however that is not the case. BREW saw fit for me to be smaller than I would normally be.

[With that, he only stretches his wings a bit and letting them flutter a little before letting them finally settle at his sides. Size happens to be a bit of a sore point for him, but he does not blame the man. He was nice enough to give him compliments, after all.]

Despite that, I am still glad to be a part of the watch and do my part for the people that live in this city, both citizens and guests alike.

I only consider my participation in the coming mission as something that most anyone would do if given the chance, as well as the right thing to do; for it simply would not be right to leave our fellow guests at the hands of those witches who have wrought to do us so many wrongs.

That's correct. And might I say, those witches sure do know how to welcome someone to this world. [his tone is light -- not sarcastic -- but the irony's clear enough...

a polite smile.] My name is Qilby, and it's been a very long time since I've met a dragon outside of those that lived alongside my people. They would have felt the same way you feel... [they'd have been sore over being shrunk too, i mean--] They would not suffer a wrong to go uncorrected.

I regret I'm not in any shape to join you, though know that your cause has my full support.

Seeing as you have mentioned it, I now find myself curious curious of the fact: you say your people lived alongside dragons? Not many other people do, aside from those in my world.

[And even then, only the military did in Europe, whilst in China... he did not know the specifics, so he will not dwell on them much.]

As for your support, I thank you very much. It would do wonders for morale knowing that there are people cheering us on whilst we are doing our mission.

[Haruka's browsing the network from the safety of her bed at the clinic when she sees Temeraire's post and promptly does a double-take. Nobody had mentioned anything about Pokemon being taken here!! And a talking one at that! She's never seen this kind before, but what else could the black dragon-type creature be?

She's about to excitedly make a reply when she remembers the topic of the post. The invasion. The taken. Her smile disappears and she hesitates as to whether she should respond at all. After a minute of silence, the answer is still 'yes'.]

I... I agree. I'm sorry, I don't know your name, but I hope you return safely.

[For some reason, it feels awkward to not have much to say. She does seem to be the pensive sort of person, at least with what little he has to go on.]

Beg pardon? I -- I do not think we are from the same world. As Toph has kindly pointed out, I do not know what a Pokemon is, so surely I am not that. I am as Toph said I am, a dragon.

Pray do not worry about that in the least. You are a new arrival, are you not?

If so, you would still need more training in order to properly synchronize soul wavelengths with whomever your partner would be. It would depend on whether you are a meister or a wepaon, but I still would think that training would be best before a mission such as this.

I do thank you for wishing us well, for I am quite sure we shall be needing it.
