[February 4th -- Mid-Morning] --- [Video]

[He is silent for a moment, his tail swishing from side-to-side in a more annoyed manner than he would usually do.]

Those ghastly attacks from the Witches from before - though that's nothing new, however it is still both very sad and very irritating. That, and with those people that have been taken...

[His tail stops, as he looks back at the Camera.]

It only makes me glad that I am going. I know not what I am to expect, exactly, except that I know that I will attempt to do my best to help my meister whilst we do battle. However, I shall most certainly not forget that our main objective is to bring people back home where they belong.

[Odd, when did Death City become "home" instead of, well...]

So for everyone that is going, pray do take care, and bring back our fellows back from the clutches of those witches.

As for those that are new arrivals -- I would think it depends on whether or not you have a partner, if you have the battle experience, and if you are confident in your abilities to participate in such an undertaking. However if you are, Godspeed.

Entire countries... [it's his turn to be marvelled.] Your kind seem to be far more common in your world than they were in ours. And to be entwined with human society to such an extent! Even our dragons -- apart from those on the Council -- remained somewhat aloof.

Your world sounds truly incredible, Temeraire. My people and I have been to many planets over the millennia, but never have I come across one like that.

[it's strange being the one spoken to -- normally it's him talking on and on. strange, but nice, not having to fight for ways to keep his thirst for the novel quenched. it doesn't even bother him that so many terms are flying way over his head; it's all just so new and fascinating.

a wide smile.]
I wouldn't rule it out. Though my people and I travelled across our universe for some years -- stopping on many planets along the way -- we were but a single grain of sand in the desert that is the Krosmoz. So many worlds are left to explore -- perhaps even your planet is among them. Maybe I will get the chance to see it some day.

[his smile falters.] And I... Empathise with your experiences, at any rate. My people are lost, and have been for several millennia. Only two of my brothers and their dragons live today.

And it may be disheartening, and while we are kept barely alive through what we've left behind -- there is hope. [a deep breath, and some forced laughter.] Or at least there will be, once I get around to getting back to the world I came from. Not that we were in a particular rush to get this task done, but BREW does have an awful sense of timing...
