[The first thing you'll see, when the feed comes on, is one gloved hand adjusting the screen a bit - there's the sound of rain in the background. Then it's withdrawing, showing a hooded figure leaning against a wall close to Shibusen Academy, staring down at the screen.]

Hello again, everyone. Sorry I took so long, coming back. Members of the Watch, please check in with me immediately. As for the rest... well, I'd appreciate it if someone could fill me in.

[He looks as though he should be somewhat abashed after he's asked that. He then makes this Private, knowing he'll say something that he's never mentioned to Toph.]

I will confess to being rather bruised, but it does not show - not on my black scales. There were some injuries on my person, but thankfully they are not horribly debilitating. I've taken spiked cannonballs to the chest back home, so these injuries are something I can survive "without a hitch," as I believe it is said.

Toph is... you have spoken with her. She is injured, but she seems to be doing fine otherwise. She is raring to go, and would like to get back to patrolling duties very soon.

Injuries aside, I am doing well as one can, sir.

[Only feeling very bad about letting her get injured, yet again, but with an opponent such as the one that they encountered, well...]
