Last few days were so much fun. Black Mesa is back in business. For those who don’t know what Black Mesa is, it's a House Call Technician business, and we fix computers, broadcasting and wireless systems, business equipment and security systems. If anyone is interested or just wants a job, call me maybe.

We are going put up cameras all over the city. More, at least. Ones that will actually capture when few people are being kidnapped on the streets after being chloroformed. The Detective Agency will supervise this since it’s for them.

Thanks for breaking into my place, setting off the alarm and starting the program to erase everything I had in my three computers. That was really awesome and completely necessary. Near, we are also ready to start setting up the cameras. Whenever you are ready.

Yup, it does. Thanks, man. Yeah. You'll basically do the same as I do; not all is amazing and beautiful, but you get paid more and that's always nice. But really, thanks, I kinda need the extra help. and if you want to, I don't mind. Let's make this official.

It'll mean extra toys for Zechs, and I'm sure he'll appreciate that. Lately he's taken to destroying everything I buy for him by tugging me across the kitchen playing. It's no problem. When I'm bored I end up pranking Trowa and one of these days that'll get me drop-kicked in the face, so...

My face is a bit purple and I got a kick to the kidney. Other than that, I'm fine. I like to believe I was very lucky. If you aren't careful you might end up with your face as pretty as mine is right now, Duo.

Fuck those hurt. Usually I got shots to heal that kind of internal burn.

That'd only be the millionth time that's happened. I once came back from a mission with my nose almost facing my eye and that was the least of my worries. Trowa'd give me a nice shiner, though, if he really wanted to I think.

Yeah they tend to feel like that. Been there one too many times for my own good/liking. But it heals up fast enough.

Well these were like... covert missions and shit, not the ones here. Tro and I are probably gonna head off on some shortly but for right now we're hanging out in case shit keeps going South. I'm hoping not, because I really don't wanna get ugly here but if someone tries to get in my shit it'll be bad news bears for them really fast.

Alright. I'm okay with that. But just letting you know, I smoke 2 packs a day. I'm not exactly athletic nor healthy.

... You're probably gonna have to fix that, first, dude. You're not gonna have any hopes of running for it or putting up a good fight if you can't keep a lung full.

I know smokers who are athletic and capable. One does influence the other, but it doesn't have to completely. [ the idea of stop smoking doesn't sit well with him, Duo ]

I like a little cancer stick every once in a while too but if you're smokin' and gamin' and not much else your lungs are screwed and I'm gonna run you in to the ground with my exercise routine...

I can't quit. Not an option. [ Matt really really doesn't want to quit ]

Already died once and it wasn't cancer, so fuck that. Might as well smoke all I can before dying again.
