Last few days were so much fun. Black Mesa is back in business. For those who don’t know what Black Mesa is, it's a House Call Technician business, and we fix computers, broadcasting and wireless systems, business equipment and security systems. If anyone is interested or just wants a job, call me maybe.

We are going put up cameras all over the city. More, at least. Ones that will actually capture when few people are being kidnapped on the streets after being chloroformed. The Detective Agency will supervise this since it’s for them.

I have a proposal. Not marriage, but close.

Thanks for breaking into my place, setting off the alarm and starting the program to erase everything I had in my three computers. That was really awesome and completely necessary. Near, we are also ready to start setting up the cameras. Whenever you are ready.

I could, but then there would be a chance of them grabbing all our shit and leave us with nothing. The cellphone drivers belong to the other guy, it'd be pretty lame to have Shibusen take it from us - we are a serious work place here. [ ahahahaha totally ]

Question about creating AI butlers. How difficult would it be to create a new one here? Not for serious purposes, more like a more advanced game. Very advanced.

Yeah, there is that. [he considers] What if somebody asks on their own. You know, just as a curious guest exploring their strange new world, some kinda shit like that. There's gotta be some scientists here that won't blow the whistle on simple curiosity. It's only natural, right? And if it happens to coincide with a work project, well, that's serendipity. [pause] I could do it.

[clears his throat] Great, let me know when you get the phone, and me and my buddy will come over. And don't worry, JARVIS is polite, no poking his metaphorical nose where he's not welcome. I promise.

Oh, and. Yeah. I can get you one. Probably just copy a little bit of JARVIS's code and let it grow from there. That's what I was planning to do with STEVE. [okay, this time he realizes Matt doesn't know what STEVE is] Oh, that's what I'm calling the security AI. Surveillance To End Violent Events. Thinking about making him kinda annoying, you know, so maybe the big alien baddie'll get pissed off trying to hack him. Worst case scenario, give STEVE time to delete important information.

There was a science group before, meant to work with Shibusen. So actually asking Shibusen wouldn't be that strange, as long you don't mention anything too specific. And yeah, you can do it; you are the genius robot-builder, after all. [ and matt really hates the business relation part of his job (and everything else), so if someone could do it fore him, it'd be great ]

That would be perfect, man. Bring them in, I'll set up the computers and the camera drivers and everything else we will need.

Also, do you need anything? I mean, building things takes, not only technology but tools and materials. I can get you contacts for that.

Hey, you got it, boss. [Fortunately for you, Tony is all too familiar with public relations and sweet-talking people into giving him what he wants.] Kinda working on a project of my own having to do with this stuff, so it's good all around.

You are quickly becoming my favorite person. I could kiss you, if that wouldn't be really weird and possibly illegal. [how old is this kid?] I'll make you a list.

Hey, got a favor to ask. I need space. And somewhere to put my suit, set up my assembly bots. Won't be permanent, probably. Just until I can get my own place.

As for space- is renting a place out of question? I would suggest the underground sewer systems, but I guess that is kinda out of commission right now, after the kidnappings. [ he is teasing. mostly ]

Renting not out of the question. Sewer system, kidnapping aside, not preferable. Too Batcave. I want somewhere above ground, clean, open concept. Might need to drill into some walls to wire the place, but I can easily fix that whenever I leave. Engineer, remember.

Well, there are apartments for rent. And if neighbors bother you, there is always the chance to get a whole house.

Talk to me about this house option. Probably better for everyone involved there. [by which he means building shit can get loud, not to mention he plays REALLY LOUD ROCK MUSIC ALL THE TIME. Shut up, it helps him think.]

It's more like a really luxurious apartment.

Fatality Condominiums is a 25-floor luxury condominium building with large, expansive units ranging from two to three bedrooms each and a loft. It's actually two stores. The cost for renting a home is D$5000 a month.

One-Bedroom Apartments for Rent however seem to have like- no one there. [ but Matt] There are three buildings, each has 3 floors and each floor 10 units. They cost D$400 dollars a month. Which means, if you rent a whole floor is less expensive than
Fatality Condominiums.

Been, ah, looking at those condos, actually. Hot tub's hard to pass up, gotta say.

Never looked at the one-bedroom deals, though. And that is a brilliant idea. Actually. I'll get JARVIS to have a look at that, calculate some square footage, and with your ever-so-graciously bestowed connections, I think I'm in business. Thanks a lot, boss.
