[[He's recovered from worse losses, after all. He can make it through this one. In time.]]

Th-Then maybe...maybe a card game, de arimasu? We could play anything you wanted, de arimasu.

A game sounds nice.

[[since he really doesn't want to be in the near empty apartment. He wonders if his father felt the same way after the accident. He doesn't like thinking about that either.]]

[He turns away briefly to talk to his partner on patrol with him.

[[He'll be just sort of standing around outside the apartment building, looking very distant and quiet]]

[Keroro runs up, out of breath, having run from the area he had been doing his patrols in.]

[[Bakura looks up with a faint smile that just looks tired. It's like he's trying to act like nothing's wrong but just doesn't have the energy for it anymore]]

It's okay if you don't have the energy, because Keroro isn't going to push you to do anything. He just unlocks the door, reaching up to turn the knob and pushing it in.]

[[He bows his head slightly as he steps in side]] Sorry for intruding, [[said in an almost automatic, distracted way as he goes to take off his shoes. Very much on autopilot.]]

[Stop making him worry, Bakura, geez.]

S-So what did you want to play, Bakura-dono?

[While he's saying this he rummages around for the cards he's certain are hidden in a cupboard filled with other games. DEATH, Squabble...where did he tuck those cards?]

[[He'd like to play Monster World but he knows that doesn't exist here. Ah well]] Anything is fine. Even if it's one I haven't heard of. [[Not that there were too many of those. Between his own love of games and Yuugi's, the two of them had gone through almost every game that existed back in their world.]]

[Keroro finally finds the cards hidden in the back where they had probably fallen earlier.]

Then...let's play Old Maid, de arimasu. [Anyone can play Old Maid, right? And besides, they didn't have the necessary equipment to play Keronian card games.]

[[idly looks over at the cards]] There aren't that many card games here, are there? Just simple ones....

I've seen some trading card games around, de arimasu.

[He even has some in his shop, after all.]

Those can be pretty complicated, de arimasu. [He shuffles the cards and deals them out. Of course, if he flips his hand over he'll see the Old Maid.]

Un... just not really... [[he trails off a moment. 'Not Duel Monsters' was what he would have said. But really what was?]]

Not really what, de arimasu? Complicated? If you don't think it's complicated enough you can always make your own, de arimasu.

Maybe. [[a bit of a faint smile at that]] There was just a really good one back home. I have my deck for it here, but no one else does, so it's not very helpful.

Then...show it to me, Bakura-dono. If we both think about it, I'm sure we'll be able to make something that could suit your needs, de arimasu.

[[He seems to debate this a moment before nodding]] It's upstairs, I can go get it.

I hope it isn't too much trouble for you, de arimasu. [But he's curious so he'd be a little bit disappointed if Bakura thought it was too much trouble.]

It's just upstairs, it's not much trouble at all. [[assures with a bit more of smile]] You can even come up, if you'd like, though it shouldn't take too long.
