[It’s been awhile, but Barricade’s decided to grace the network with his anonymous presence. Kidnappings and rescue missions aren’t all that interesting to him, after all. Let the humans sort out their own.]
I think everyone here is in agreement that BREW is a terrible invention. What really bothers me about it, though, is the fact that it’s obsessed with pulling in more humans than anything else. It’s a disturbing thought if humanity is the common denominator across endless realities, isn’t it?
I suppose it sticks with what it knows, which is consistent for a machine built by humans and not helpful at all. Human conflict solved by human ineptitude isn’t a very good strategy. I’d give it some points for wising up and bringing in superior species every once and awhile, except none of us want to be here. The only comforting part about humanity infesting so many realities is that there’s always something actively trying to wipe it out. That's a universal constant I can live with.

[Maybe not her, personally, but in general at least.
Of course, she's also spent years sharing a body with a weapon that loves humanity so that's probably had an impact.]

Man, I've heard some stupid things before- but this is pretty high up there. Humans ain't the on'y ones that go all crazy beatin' each other up. They jus' ain't so quiet 'bout it.
[Anon Text]
I never said they weren't the only ones, they just have a knack for ruining everyone else's day while they're at it.
[Video for Mushu/Anon-Text for creepy robot dude]

It is these two reasons why humans are despised. Not because they are weak but because they are a threat to other species that exist at the top of the food chain. Competition drives this dislike, that very feeling being tantamount to saying 'a human can surpass me'.
[Anon Text]
Humanity evolves at a glacier pace compared to some species I've seen, and they're a threat in the same sense a virus or parasite is dangerous. It needs to be taken care of before it destroys the host.

Text
It must be very difficult for you to live in this city when you feel as you do for humans.
Humans make mistakes, I have witnessed this first hand. They aren’t perfect, but there is no species that is. Regardless of if they view themselves as "superior" to humans or not. But humans have a way of overcoming things. They are a impressive, resilient and adaptive race. They created the BREW, which while flawed, is capable of bringing beings across realities. That is a great feat of power. I have even met those here that have engineered a way to travel through time.
Even if beings like myself weren't brought in, they would still find a way to end this conflict themselves.

And you shouldn't underestimate them.

Alright, so then why are we here if they're supposed to be solving it? None of us volunteered for this slag.
