[The feed opens to show Azusa standing somewhere... chaotic. Somewhere in Shibusen, actually, a wide corridor--there are technicians running around and students clustered together in small groups. She's snapping out orders with an outstretched finger, yelling for security around the borders of the city to be beefed up, telling the students to behave or else. And then she raises the communicator and speaks directly into the feed.]
It's the water. Death City's entire water supply has been compromised, very likely with black blood, or a more diluted form than what we've seen in Europe--
[There's a crazed yell as one of the students behind her suddenly breaks free from his group and charges at her back, an arm cocked and changing into a partial blade form. Azusa doesn't even hesitate; she pivots on a foot and catches him full in the chest with a roundhouse. The feed is jerked crazily from side to side, and for a moment all it shows is the tiled floor. There's a groan from off-screen, and then Azusa's voice, tight and exasperated:]
--still sore about that F I gave you the other day, are you? Control yourself! This can be resisted through strength of will!
[She brings the feed back into focus. Her stern expression is the same, but most of the students behind her look visibly calmer, or at least, more intimidated by her at the moment to mind the effects of the black blood they'd unknowingly ingested.]
Unbelievable. The entire city--
[And here's Spirit Albarn, running toward the group with a mobile phone in each hand, face panicky as usual. His hair seems to be singed. Ran into a chef with a blowtorch, actually.]
I called them! The water guys are fixing it now. Vegas is sending us water in bottles-- Whoa! [He sidesteps the student Azusa had kicked down, hopping as he keeps his balance.]
It won't make the madness go away immediately, but it should be gone in a week or so. Tzar said he's sending us agents with Calming Wavelength. We need to figure out where it came from, though.
[And the next thing you'll hear is a very, very loud slurp from somewhere beyond the screen. Stein eventually wanders in after Spirit, turning the crank driven through one side of his head with one hand, and sipping milk from a small carton with another. He looks around once, and, upon noticing the student on the floor, immediately crouches down.]
Hou...
[Squatting down, squatting down. Peering at the kid. Slurping from his milk carton.]
I'm home for barely a week and strange things happen. [He does not sound bothered at all. La la la, digging into the pocket of his lab coat. He might not be looking for a ballpen.] Let's get things under control before we look around first. In the meantime...
[Aha. Here it is: his scalpel. Yes, he's eyeing that student.]
Stop drinking from the water supply. We need to start purging the black blood from your bodies. [The corner of Azusa's right eye twitches in annoyance - an involuntary tick. She whirls around once again, and this time, smacks the back of Stein's head--the hand holding the scalpel is hovering over the unconscious student, and his companions are all looking on in petrified horror.] AND STOP DOING THAT!!
[ooc: Plain black is Azusa, red is for Spirit, and purple is for Stein.]
