I'm getting tired of sitting still and doing very little. Right now, it seems I'm only living off of my brother's graces.

I don't know if I'm capable of resonating with anyone, but if someone would like to try, please contact me. I'm a weapon... I've only tried to transform a few times, but it seems my form is some sort of camera.

Aside from that, what do you usually do to pass the time? I'm not used to having so much empty space in my schedule.

[Motochika looks rather sheepish about something. There are bandages here and there and obvious bruising visible in places. Pretty much what you'd expect someone to look after they were almost turned into kishin food. His parrot perches on his shoulder, encouraging the whole stereotypical pirate look when coupled with his eyepatch.]

I would have done this earlier but got a bit sidetracked because of the Witches... [He scratches his cheek.] When the whole black blood thing was going on, I might of stolen a few things. I've returned most of it, but-- [He takes a step to the side revealing a small pile of stolen goods.] it's been a few days and I can't remember everyone. If any of this is yours, you can come and get it and sorry for threatening you as well.

[He wishes he could end it at just that, but unfortunately he still has responsibilities.]

I'm Chosokabe Motochika and believe it or not, I'm a Zone Leader for the Outer Residential District II along with Heiwajima Shizuo. I'd like anyone under our district to report in.

I also happen to be the weapons smith for the Watch, so if you have any special requests I'm the guy to go to. [He walks off the screen and returns with an anchor spear as an example of his work.] Stuff that isn't your basic sword or gun or I could upgrade whatever you've got.

[He rubs his face.] I do apologise for my previous actions and I'll do my best to attempt to fix things.

[ooc: If you want you can say that he's taken something of your character's back in phase 1 of the last plot, it'd likely be something small, what they would carry around with them normally and it must have material worth. His inbox is also here.]

[For once, she appeared to be settled in the Watch office, though there is a large amount of paper work nearby and a dismantled sniper rifle on top of it all.]

Just when it seems the city can't be dismantled any further, we have a swarm of insects come in to mess it up and take over the holes in the defenses. Does anyone know if there were numbers on causalities who weren't taken?

[She sneered and shook her head.] I didn't even get the pleasure of breaking more than some fingers. [It's not clear if she's joking or being serious.]

[Spirit appears, fixing the camera angle, zooming in and out of his somewhat dirty and dusty self. It's smudged brown in a corner and he scrapes it off with an equally dirty fingernail, whispering something to an unseen man next to him.]

You sure this is secure only to our agents? [There's a 'Yes, sir!' and Spirit nods, and clears his throat.]

Our scouts tracked down the witches to their new hide out, where they've taken our people. It's the... Grand Canyon, in one of the cave networks there. The scouts reported that the prisoners are alive for now, but they can't get into the caves to check what's going on in there.

[deep breath] We're launching a rescue mission on the fifth -- the day after tomorrow. That's the shortest time we can be underway, because our scouts have to set up our transportation mirror there and we need to recover here. Sign up with the guys if you want to come -- we'll take unpartnered fighters, too, as long as you promise not to take on kishin egg on your own in case there are any.

And... [hesitates for a moment, and then reluctantly:] The witches didn't just come here to pick up random people. They were specifically targeting the Meisters and Weapons among us, but we don't know why yet. Be triple careful in the mission, all right?

They were also after our witch prisoner, who's been giving us some tips on her sisters' activity. Cybele gave us the info on the transmitters in Europe that last time, among other things. Seems the witches weren't happy with how we ruined their big project and we barely managed to save her from, well, death. [shrugs, as if he deals with witch assassinations all the time. Actually, he does.] She's pretty much on our side now after what they tried to do, so don't be too surprised if a lion lady takes a walk around town once in a while. Don't worry, we're keeping a good lock down on her magic until we're sure she can be trusted. [tiredly] Not the first time we've had witches on our side, at least...

[clears his throat] A bunch of us guys are still trying to identify and bury the undead. We've dragged the whole lot of them to the southeast side of the city to keep the smell away, though. Uuh, just don't wander over there for a few days.

Our movie will have to wait a few more days. How are you... doing?

A new face appears on the network, although there may be something of the deja vu about the helmet with its golden crescent, the mon with its twin sparrows, perhaps even the face, a little. Not the attitude, though - actually, this kid is the polar opposite of laid back cool. Which is to say he's absolutely furious.]

Let's make something clear. I don't know what dumb joke that guy is playing, but there's only one Date Masamune, and that's me - me! The One-Eyed Dragon, the Lord of Oshu, future ruler of all Japan, Date Masamune!

[He thumps his chest just in case any more emphasis is needed.]

Just wait and you'll see what it means to have me around here!

[Welp. No time to really react to the losses he's taken on the organizational and personal end. Lovely day we're having, eh?

Feed comes on to Mustang on full-on Soldier Mode. He's just outside of the building where the DOGS office is located.]

Everyone all right? [He sure as hell hopes so.]

I'm mobilizing the entirety of the Watch around the city. Please avoid any structures that have taken damage during the earthquake, just to be on the safe side. Contact me immediately if you need help, or if you think your friends are in trouble.

Zone Leaders, take charge of your districts. I want all able patrolmen on the field and in their respective districts, ready to offer assistance to whoever needs it. Keep lines of communication clear and open between yourselves. Use your own judgment, keep your eyes open and your ears to the ground.

Scifo, Hawkeye: hold the fort. Kerrigan, Tassadar, Selendis, Temeraire, Genesis, Konoha ninja: can you give me a view from above on how things are in the city? Lady: to me.
